#11) ED KRANEPOOL
Perhaps no player has better symbolized the New York Mets than Ed Kranepool. He started with the young club while only 17 years old. Ed was still with the Mets eighteen seasons later. Kranepool is the Mets career team leader in games played, at-bats, and hits. He was selected to the MLB All-Star Game in 1965, and was a member of the "Miracle Mets" World Champions of 1969. All these earned Ed enshrinement into the New York Mets Hall of Fame in 1990.
Ed Kranepool signed his card (the first one of this set I ever created) from a mailed request to his home on October 11, 2008.
