#286) BRENT GAFF
Brent Gaff was drafted by the New York Mets in the sixth round (146th overall) of the 1977 amateur draft. He appeared in a total of 58 games during his three seasons with the Mets. The team released the man from Churubusco, Indiana on November 13, 1985.
Brent Gaff signed his card, using the dreaded black sharpie, from a request sent to his home on January 16, 2009. (Black sharpies tend to discolor and bleed over time. That is why collectors tend to refrain from having them in their collections.)
